Cupid's trusty crossbow allows him to shoot his heart-shaped arrows at pin-point precision. Add a little bit of magic knowledge from his time in the commune and the ability to fly, hes a force to be reckoned with.

Personal history
Son of Aphrodite and Ares, Eros was raised as the bastard child of their tumultous affair. Through the drama ensuing between Aphrodite and her husband, Hephaestus (Ares's brother), he was quickly tossed aside as an "unwanted" result of a decades long familial conflict. Although it wasn't very fun, it helped him learn very quickly that love is both a painful and powerful emotion. One that he has full power over.
As he grew among the wealthy children of Olympia, Eros would sell "love potions" for a quick buck. The only problem was that they were just ordinary bottles filled with red juice. This scam was one of many that he would get wrapped up in, eventually earning a reputation among Olympian law enforcement as an ambitious charlatan. After many run-ins with the law, Eros was expelled from Olympia Academy for an undisclosed reason. He quickly left town and fled to a commune of Olympian outcasts hidden in the groves beneath Mount Olympus. There, he gave himself a new name, Cupid.
Cupid's desire to become somebody famous and powerful led him to become a mercenary. With a silver tongue and a clever wit, Cupid has managed to pull off several schemes that have made him a popular hire throughout Mythologica. Over time, he was able to build a crew of mercenaries - The Lonely Hearts Club. This group once consisted of Hersilia, the Goddess of Comets/Courage, and Momotaro, the Hero of Nagamichi.
Recently, however, Cupid has gotten himself into a bit of a bind. After several run-ins with Up in Arms, a passionate rivalry has formed between the two teams of adventurers. However, the Lonely Hearts Club may have bitten off more than they could chew. First, Momotaro was slain by Gilgamesh. Then, Cupid's ship, the Heartstopper was stolen by Up in Arms. Finally, Hersilia was defeated in battle by Selene and Gilgamesh, dying a brutal death that involved desanguination. Cupid is now alone once again. Not a desirable state for the God of Love.
