Goddess of Love
Born to the royal family of Ur, Ishtar had everything a young girl could dream of: a loving family, political power, wealth, and a bright future ahead of her. This all changed the day she met Gilgamesh. At the time he was simply a young warlord, brutally fighting his way to the top of Urian politics with a battle prowess unlike any other. Ishtar fell for the demigod's charms and charisma, eventually falling madly in love with him. The moment that they locked eyes, Ishtar could feel the sparks of love erupt deep within her.

Personal history
Three times she presented herself before Gilgamesh, offering him her hand in marriage, however each time he declined. When Gilgamesh later took Ur and deposed King Nanna, he ordered an execution for the aging king. As Gilgamesh stood upon the executioner's scaffold, he looked out at the crowd. There, he spotted Ishtar, disheveled and hiding among the crowd. Their eyes met, yet again. This time, however, her eyes were filled with nothing but seething hatred.
Education
Ishtar received a royal education during her childhood in Ur. However, after her family was deposed, she fled to Olympia where she was educated in political intrigue, sorcery, and deception.
