Dworkin Barimen

The progenitor of the royal line, Dworkin was the last member of his Chaosian house (Barimen) to survive it's purging by the King of Chaos.  Fleeing into Shadow, Dworkin encountered the Unicorn and together they were able to draw the Great Pattern of Amber.
Active in the early years of the Kingdom, Dworkin eventually left the reigns of power to his son Oberon and departed into Shadow, lost for thousands of years until making a reappearance during the Patternfall war.  He has been seen from time to time since, but is still a figure of great mystery and unknown motivations.
