The Renegades

Turncoats, Deserters, and Undeniable Bastards

The Renegades are a pirate clan located in the southeastern area of The Nassa Archipelago. They are made up primarily of deserters and turncoats from militaries across the world and have united under the lawless banner of Sozic the Blooded. Their disorganization and disloyalty has led to their territory rapidly being claimed by the Black Reapers over the course of the last two years. Most in Nassa believe the Renegades will be wiped out before long.

Violent Beginnings

Five years ago, Sozic the Blooded assumed control of the Renegades after a mutiny that left the previous Dreadlord, Atram Ohecia, dead along with his top officers. This coup was only one more in a long line of violent, internal power struggles that have plagued the Renegades since its founding over a decade ago. There was a brief period under Sozic where the Renegades were winning their skirmishes with the Baron's Blood and the Twin Moons, but a massive defeat at the hands of Lord Namira of Three Peaks left the clan permanently weakened.

Life Without Law

The city of Rikke has only one rule: "Watch your back." Gold and blood fill the streets of the slum, as Sozic the Blooded cares little about the citizens under his rule. Only those with nowhere else to turn, people who'd rather disappear than be recognized, or fools with death wishes take up residence in the most dangerous city in the world.
