The capital city of the Confederation is a relatively small, but very dense, population center located on the southern most entrance into the Drumul Mare into the Apian mountains. Deposita 5 was for a short time occupied by elements of the 4th Sierra Army after the bombs dropped, up until a high magnitude earthquake created a cave-in within the Drumul Mare, forcing them to abandon the wealth of Imperial equipment and supplies. The Depot remained untouched for the most part up until about 2250 ISC, when the gangsters that would found the Confederation rediscovered it.
The supply depot over the next couple of centuries slowly built itself up to be a respectable settlement, by Cartel standards, and is the home of the Confederations Board and Supreme Commander. The city is also a rare example of massive post-war architectural works, where designers embraced the ascetics of haphazardly built shacks and unstable looking high rises and implemented it into their buildings construction. The result is a confusing looking skyline, where if it wasn't for the lighting and seemingly clean finish on the buildings surface, it would look like the city was hit by an Earthquake and a War.
