These mountains would be visible from Gylidd Syn Aethri if not for the Brume that coats them in a thick miasma, causing the lowlands to blur into full obfuscation before even rising half their true height. Most Gylidders have never seen the peaks of these mountains, and those who have were likely lost to the Brume long ago. Ancient fortifications commanded from the castle city of Dobkwar, the home of the Gylidder Guard, line the edges of these mountains with many of their battlements and defensive strategies intended for use against whatever may emerge from Vrokíva’s mists.
