Gylidder is the term for creatures that call Gylidd Syn Aethri home. Although the island of Gylidd harbors thousands of species and hundreds of communities, the city of Gylidd Syn Aethri is a superculture with enough shared experience to consider itself a single ethnicity. Not all denizens of the island consider themselves Gylidders, but those who do can be found all over, from Ormtona to Asheido, and nowhere more than the capital.
Gylidders typically speak Gylidder Common (with a rainbow of accents), spend Gylidder coins (emblazoned with the leyline star on one side from Gylidd's flag and the portrait of the city on the other), enjoy Gylidder Go (a multiplayer game with six sets of colored stones), and fly the leyline star (the emblem of Gylidd Syn Aethri) with pride.
