Halfling, Sylvan

Halflings stand about 3 feet tall and usually weigh between 30 and 35 pounds. Their skin is ruddy and their hair is black and straight. They have brown or black eyes. Halflings often have sideburns but beards are rare among them and mustaches are almost unseen.
Sylvan (Lotusden) halflings use their wisdom to become in tune with nature, letting them easily pass through the underbrush of their home while leaving very little to trace. They also have a talent for druidic magics, able to do such small things as predict the weather or cause plants to bloom. More powerful Sylvans can conjure plants from the ground to restrain their foes, and can magically cover the ground in razor-sharp thorns.

Eslaiqi Sylvan Halflings

Chosen of Sametsuen: Some of the original smallfolk to inhabit the beaches in these eastern reaches of Eslaiqeza, the Sametsuen are thought to be born more of the planet itself. Their bodies tend to have somewhat supernatural appearances, ranging from blonde hair always full of a little bit of sand, to ocean blue eyes that seem to flow around their pupils, to some even known for having bark like growths or patterns to their skin. They will claim that the region has blessed them with a number of magical abilities, and many peruse lives to further attune their forms to the nature around them, which has led to the formation of the Sametsuen Circle of Druids.

Among the Trees: In Hynfaol, the crown of the Verdant Mesa, an entire district of the city has been run by sylvan halflings for millennia. The Coeden District's buildings are naturally accommodating for creatures large and small, as nature itself makes way for all shapes and sizes. While the people of this settlement are as seemingly whimsical as elsewhere, in truth their community follows the winds and listens closely to the guidance of nature. The leader of the sylvan halflings is Esylalia, a prophetic sorcerer.
