This 2 mile wide, 125 mile long channel is clearly artificial, as its walls are made of carved, magically fortified stone, and its course is a perfectly straight northwesterly line running from the Inland Sea directly to the Binding Sea at the Port of Ormtona. At several points, stone megastructure bridges tower over it high enough to avoid the masts of even the largest sailing ships. Between its perfect, precise lines and the even spacing of its features, this canal bears all of the hallmarks of the direct hand of the Inaethri that crafted it during the Age of Stone as a way to open Gylidd Syn Aethri’s ports more directly to the rest of the world.
