The current burgomaster of Sarcoment is a nonbinary deep gnome named Oryn Offund. A respected individual, Oryn has garnered a reputation for focusing on the long term safety and sustainability of Sarcomant. To this end Oryn has made an alliance with the Aliki Orangebeard, the current burgomaster of Lireon, so that the two villages will assist each other when they can. They are rarely seen without a fine jade bracelet worn on their left wrist, and while they are generally liked, many people are wary of crossing them. An inquisitive and short-tempered individual, Oryn has a habit of reading into a person’s comments and seeing insults where none truly are. While they can deal with these insinuated slights, any that are clearly stated are met with immediate retribution of the swiftest and most severe order.
