One of the strongest features of the Northern Rachis Range is that the mountains are jagged and sharp, like teeth reaching to the sky. Ymerawdwr, known in Gylidder common as "the Emperor," is the tallest mountain in Gylidd reaching over 22,000 feet. This massive triangle spike stands out amongst the other mountains, not only because it is much taller than the others, but the sharp angles near the top make it hard for snow to adhere. Only a foolish traveler would try to summit Ymerawdwr, which is why the largest settlement of Goliath on the island can be found upon its slopes, forming a village of extreme altitudes and dangerous heights they call Dantawyr.
