The Ripple

The Ripple brings an end to the Age of Faith, and the beginning of the Brume and the Age of Isolation.

The Incari of Myzelis, being ripped and torn into by the violent chaos of the Age of Faith, enacts a change in the natural systems by connecting all of the disparate, shredded nodes of power into a point from which stability radiates. New Leyline intersections are formed where Inaethri had cultivated their power, and new Leylines connect back to the epicenter of the Ripple, at what would become Gylidd Syn Aethri. This event causes sudden changes throughout the entire world. Everywhere that is not a Leyline or following a Leyline to the epicenter is shrouded in the Brume and becomes inhospitable to In/Aethri, while the Incari of Myzelis mends the transplanar damage caused by the Age of Faith. The Brume has waxed and waned through the all ages that follow, with further damage to the planet causing periods of localized resurgence, while other localities were able to expand into freshly healed swaths of land, but has never gone away.
