Spring is mating season for many of the animals and bugs. A lot of the flowers bloom during this time.
Summer has a few flowers that bloom, and plants from spring are producing fruit during this time. The baby animals and bugs are being born/growing up.
Fall things are slowing down more. Plants that thrive in the cooler temperatures reach their peak, in particular root vegetables and similar. The animals and bugs are collecting and storing food or preparing to hibernate. The plants from summer are producing their fruit.
Winter the world stands much more still. There is some snow. Many animals and bugs are hibernating. Only a few plants are growing. More of them have died and will come back in the spring.
