Twisting Dark

A cursed miasma that permeates every drop of water within The Depths, the Twisting Dark warps all creatures that enter the Depths into mindless abonations intent on the total destrcution of all realms.

Transmission & Vectors

Although no one understands why, there are no signs that the Twisting Dark is contagious beyond the edges of The Depths, as the monsters warped by the Twisting havenever infected other creatures but those unfortante to be trasnformed can never be healed, the miasma of those trenches warp their entire biology so completely that the monsters that retun cannot even be considered the same species.

Treatment

There is no cure for the victims of the Twisting, their only release, the greatest mercy they can be awarded, is a quick death and indeed the warped monsters' violent dispositions often means that their swift erradication an unvoidable necessity of survial.
