The Depths

Well beyond the ocean floor of every sea there is a trench and a cavern that lead into the dark. Well beneath the midnight zone where light has never reached and the water is cold and black, there lies The Depths. An ancient and ever expanding subaquatic cave system that binds all the oceans of existence. Much like the Red Leaf Caves The Depths provide stable passage between the realms of Na Aragen although the path is anything but safe for the great beasts that lurk within those cold depths come from a time of the Elder Ones, a time perhaps before them, and they forever hunting. The legends say that the great monsters of the deep, the krakens, and the great levaithans, all originate from the pitch darkness of The Depths.

Twisting Dark

A darkness festers within those black caverns. A horid corrupting power that seeps into everything that strays beyond the light. I do not know what black power feeds it but the victims of the Twisting remind me too much of my little brother.

Within the blackness of The Depths lies an ancient power that's orgins have long since been lost to time. An infectious emptiness that twists its victims into horrid monsters that wonder the realms devouring and destroying everything in their path. Both Gods and Demons refer to this currupting sickness as, the Twisting Dark and any opportunity to destroy it is reasonble warrent for even The Lord Morgane and Storm Queen Diana to set aside their mutal hatered.
