Aefulloft
Aefulloft is a region of Goddeath containing the God of Magic Rune. It is an overlap of the region of Aeful, more specifically pertaining to the magic academy within its borders. The region is an expansive dark reflection of the school surrounded in enervating mists. Composed of the Shadowfell and the Empty, Aefulloft is kept fueled by the very existence of Rune. The campus houses the souls of the failed students who once studied the arcane arts in the material counterpart of the world.
Otherwise its occupants continue their existence unaware of their death, and lost in academic spirit. Rune himself lives out existence on this plane studying the arcane. He has no interest in breaking free, or at least seams not to, for If any god would know of the way out it would surely be him.
Geography
Aefulloft is a realm of perfect academia. Rooms of the school are stretched out, and frozen in time and space. The entire campus seams replicated here, replicated from but off kilter in an eerie yet reflective way that is ever so off from the original.
Localized Phenomena
The realm follows the rules of the Shadowfell. Furthermore no one can leave the realm without first navigating the surrounding mist, a feat considerably challenging for anyone to reliant of Rune's strength such as intellect and Arcana. The plane attracts and captures the soul of anyone killed on campus. They are subsequently trapped within and their minds clouded into the haze of the Shadowfell. The most powerful souls retain their minds and can think clearly at first until the world eventually saps them of any remaining energy.
