Locathah
These resilient and proud fish-folk have endured war, slavery, and mistreatment at the hands of other aquatic creatures. They dwell in submerged tribal communities along seacoasts, and hunt both above and below the water.
Locathah like many beast folk are a relatively young race on Na'Endreth. However unlike the others they share a rather unique convergent evolution. Many Locathah come from the very fish that were used to splice the Sahuagin into the monsters they are today. This connection creates both a stigma of primitive savagery from the sea elves and triton, and enables parasitic control from the Sahuagin. Non the less Locathah perceiver. They possess a keen sense of celestial divination accelerated by crude worship of aberrant monstrosities that swim the oceans close by.
You would be hard pressed to see one of these fish out of water. Without magical aid a Locathah cannot survive more than 4 hours without water. Specially designed mucas on their skin holds water for breathing at a high efficiency. Unfortunately this means they are very much prone to arid environments.
Culturally coastal Locathah are very different from submerged. Those that drive the land lean towards mercantile trade hoping to improve their status and increase their stay of land. Those that dwell in the deep often live in a dangerous cycle of survival and superstition.
