The proud treasure of the Aethrian Kingdom

The most important Capital in all of Naedor, Sidvar sits at the center of the Aethrian Continent and holds both the biggest military forces in the world but also the most important library about the Naedorian history and magic. Once the setting of the biggest battle and the resting place of its hero Sidvar , it now holds the biggest hub of all the races.

History

The foundation of the city of Sidvar led to the construction and reconstruction of several diferent buildings in the area around the original castle used by the orcs in the Studvar War, along with this changes the castle was reformed and renamed to Ard'Aethos, inside of the castle the family of Sidvar took residence, and a new building of administration was created along side the castle walls. After the formation of Aethria as a nation Sidvar decided that the city would need a council, as well as other institutions to divide power and help keeping peace, and for that reason besides the council 3 other entities were formed, The Silverian Guard would become the main force of defence of the castle as well as defenders of the rulers family, they would grow to become the Silverian Hound Unit and the Adamant Priory in charge of keeping the order in the city, and on the other hand it created The guild of the Golden Crest as both protector of the Crest that simbolizes the peace achieved and also as an official group to take on the affairs and request of the people of the continent, following suit other nations copied the guild formation and developed other similar institutions.

Historical Landmark

Sidvar got its name from th High elf conqueror Sidvar "Lioncrest" Aethivae  , and his family would become rulers of Aethria shortly after, it also holds the royal seal the Golden Crest, hence the fame of the city. More than 2000 years ago in the War of Studvar it was a hold to both Dragonborns and Orcs, and it became a strategical point due to it position and the vantage point that its height among the valley provided.
