The Guild of the Golden Crest

Structure

The Golden Crest has many different roles and as such the organization has divide itself into divisions each of them in charge of a particular interest to the guild and every division has also different squads with varying tasks that are then divided into specific team that complete the tasks that are requested to the guild.

So far The Guild of the Golden Crest has been organized into 9 divisions:

• The Golden Leaf: The main Elite force of the Golden Crest members under direct orders from Commander ( Aeth Ith'var ) Raegaz Silvermane
• The Arcana: The Magical Affairs Division in charge of exploring and catalogizing the finding of the guild as well as documenting history in their library and link other libraries to theirs, This branch is organized by Sylvanar Everruner.
• The Argosenim: The inteligence and secret magic division, supervised by Sylvanar but under the orders of Serven.
• The Vulturim: The Research and Development division in charge of inventing and catalogizing technology and magical artifacts for later use, they use artificiers and alchemists to create and rework devices, This branch is administated by Shaelor.
• The Nirevarnon: Lead by Nirevar they are the main forces of the crest in terms of military power and strategy, this is the biggest division in terms of members since most of them are soldiers or some other militar ranks, they also act as the field teams first division before specializing and even have several squads that help keep order around the Empire.
• The Arum Adarcanum: The exploration division that is in charge of traversing the world and find different magical artifacts, ruins and other pieces of interest for the guild, they are under the command of Eidor Cadzals.
• Saerum Andaris: The infiltration and deployment team in charge of long term assignments inside and outside of the Empire, they retrieve, extract, implant and move different target objectives around and are also the underworld connection of the guild, they are under the instruction of Valesca Darrow.
• Orgos Argen: the defense and protect unit that is in charge of the security of the guild as well as assignments of protection of people and places, they are in heavy communication with the other divisions to provide the right type of defenses to each situation and often work with other leaders to ensure the missions are accomplished without any weak points.
• Arum Neketh: The independent squads, they work the different assignments that are placed as requests for the guild, and generally are comprised of individuals with different skills and that are of interest to the guild in both abilities and possible future promotions to other divisions.

The leaders of each division are called The Golden Council and are known to be extremely good at their roles and some say are immensely powerful, the squad and team organization is internal for each division but they hold a similar structure comprised of, a General that organizes squads by role, under direct orders from the division leader, a supplier, a Bodyguard for each squad, an arcanist that records squad missions and distribute them, and then the squad leaders and their teams. In the case of the Arum Neketh they differ in the fact that they recieve orders directly from the 8 in the council, and have access to the resources of all division in order to complete their assignments.

Besides the members of the divisions there are also several colaborators that help maintain the guild, like butlers and maids, and scholars and representatives of other organizations and diplomats, and also chefs and even a master librarian.

Culture

As one if not the largest guild in the world the Golden Crest has a lot of respect and reputation from many other organizations, and this also applies to the members of the guild, each and every one from division leaders to team embers are expected to perform and behave according to the guilds beliefs of honor, protection and glory. Honor to the people, the empire and themselves as part of the guild, protection to the citizens and their peers, and glory to the symbol of the golden crest. But beyond that each and every member trust in each other regardless of the differences, as each member of the Guild is hand picked and recruted they all trust in the abilities of each and everyone and that the expectations of them can be met, even in hard times.  This also lead to a selfless trust as they call it, since regardless of origin attitude or demeanor they rely on each other to move forward and complete their goals.

Public Agenda

Although the guild responds primarily to the Crown of Aethria and their interested for the people, they themselves have complete independence on how to proceeed, being the oldest institution in the empire and a pillar to its success they have earned a lot of freedom, so as far as their methodology goes they are very straight forward. Following their code of honor, protection and glory not just by name but conveying it to each member, the people of Aethria are their priority even above the crown in their methods, followed by the recollection of information, magic and technology to further advance their goals, whenever the golden crest is, people are relieved to see them there, however this also means that their focus is not omnicient and they use their resources carefully and strategically, in order to be ready in case of any larger treats to the Empire. They of course are in contact with diplomatics in other regions and are a part of The House of Might, but this is secondary in their goals.

Assets

The Golden Crest Guild has been around for more than 2000 years and as such it has accumulated several important resources, that vary from economical gains to members, they have expanded and organized several different division that manage their own assets and resources. Here is an extract from several research papers  done by the scholars of the The Protectorate of Magical Affairs. 

"First of all from the monetary perspective the guild has an undisclosed amount of platinum and gold in 3 vaults that from historical stimations is around 8 million platinum worth in coin each PS. this is even hidden for several new members..."
"They also have more than 460000 members registered PS. this is not clear to be a historical overall number or the current active members"
"They have an amount of vessels registered that has been stimated to 30 ships according to the data collected at the Miliras docks survey yet complete number or confirmation is not avaible PS.Mayor of the city always intervenes..."
