Personal history

It is difficult to decipher truth from myth regarding the Blood Queen's origins. All that is known to be true is that she was one of the dwarven refugees that emerged from the underdark in the Kor'varrosh mountains. She became a leader of fanaticists among the dwarves, and quickly grew to lead the cult that endures to this day.
She has been assassinated numerous times - a fact that her followers do not attempt to hide at all. Rather, they celebrate these attempts as divine word that she will always return to enact her plan on the world. Through a variety of means, she has been resurrected, reincarnated, and her life prolonged to continue leading her cultists.
The Blood Queen has had many children over her incredibly long life, with most serving as advisors, generals, and leaders on her behalf.

The Blood Queen is the founder of the Kor'varrosh and their violent ideology. From accounts and examinations over the centuries, it appears that she is a true believer in what she preaches to her followers, and seeks to end mortal life on the planet. To further these ends, she has sought the aid of gods, demons, and all sorts of other immortal beings - as well as preaching to mortals to join her cause. Those that join her are ultimately slated to be the last to die in their goals.
