Donemr
A donemr is the title given to those who exemplify the divine goals of the Siher, the god of farming and community, and is derived from the archaic word for 'farmer' in Sindian.
Duties
A donemr is given their title by their community, rather than another religious superior. The title primarily is a display of respect and admiration rather than one that comes with explicit duties or powers.
The difficulty to gain the title varies heavily by community, and over time some communities have become particularly well known for their rarity in giving an individual the title of donemr. To reflect this, donemr are often announced along with the community they hail from.
In rare cases, the title of donemr can be awarded posthumously. This is generally reserved for those who were already well on their way to achieving the title, but died protecting their community in some way.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
An individual can be a donemr of multiple locales, though it is expected that they must be able to continue supporting their original communities. Those that forsake their duties in favor of another community, or simply due to negligence can have their title revoked.
This is generally seen as a greatly dishonorable act, and few are ever able to achieve the title again in any community that becomes aware of their past.
It is possible for a donemr to be honorably dismissed - when they are called away for family, war, or some other catastrophe. The title isn't immediately granted upon their return, but most remain in good graces.
