Divine Domains
Etione is an Ancient of time and prophecy, fractured into four aspects - the past, the present, the future, and unknown. She is worshipped by philosophers and historians, who pray to her for guidance.
Holy Books & Codes
Among Etione's own clergy is a heated debate when Etione's holy texts will be written. Distinct passages from the text have been gleaned from portents and prophecies - references to pages with unknown content, and quoting old men of wisdom that have yet to be born. In some cases, passages are written to fill the gaps by those hoping their thoughts will be preserved in the canon, never knowing whether they will be removed by a future passage. The text remains an ever changing compilation of notes that often takes decades to fully understand.

Physical Description
Body Features
Etione has four aspects known to mortals, interpreted as The Past, The Present, The Future, and The Unknown.
The Past is most often depicted as an attractive woman with a youthful cheer about her, and is said to be the most talkative of Etione's aspects.
The Present is depicted as a warrior, clad in armor and bearing fresh wounds.
The Future manifests as a humanoid whose lips have been sewn together. She is often depicted with an expression of melancholy longing, and occasionally in the act of whispering into someone's ear.
The only accounts of The Unknown are from a prophet who died shortly after scribbling a depiction of a dark skeletal figure whose eyes were blindfolded with a silken cloth. Numerous passages in Etione's holy text reference this prophet, and it is believed that the sight of The Unknown is fatal to mortals.
