Creation of Existence
The people of Nailara are blessed with the knowledge of the impossibly powerful entities that created the universe as they know it, and cursed with a lack of details on how it happened. Most cultures have different interpretations on how the Ancients and gods shaped the world as it exists today.
What follows is the most common story in Aisoa.
Summary
Once, there was nothing. There was no time. No space.
In the nothingness, there was.
Ebium chose to exist, and with it, existence began. It fractured existence across many planes and universes. With each universe, so too were the other Ancients created, who helped shape this newfound existence.
Aldt created the rules by which life could take place. In so doing, he crafted death and the balance between them. The very rules by with mortals could breathe, think, and hope. How they would bleed, despair, and die.
Etione crafted time - without it, mortals would be crushed under the cosmic weight of all existence. Where Ebium exists in all universes, Etione exists in all times.
Qamara filled these universes with life, spreading new gods and creatures across the planes and planets. They took her work, and made it their own.
Uncountable years have passed since the Ancients created our universe. We know not whether we are nearing the end of their plans, or still remain in its infancy. Life grows and changes without their action, and we mortals seek understanding of the nature of the existence they have gifted to us.
