Goldenroad

Goldenroad was the name of a major trade route that ran from the Cradle through the Great Forest to the corner of the continent in what is now Lishan.
It was an extraordinarily lucrative trade route, bringing goods to and from the prosperous nation of Sokol, stopping in its largest cities. The fey denizens of the Great Forest allowed this trade route for many years.
When Sokol was transformed into The Ash, the route was destroyed. The fey of the Great Forest later forbid outsiders from traveling through the road, and it was soon overgrown.
