Guðrún

<Kvooth-roon>

"The Healer"

Divine Domains

Guðrún is associated with growth, healing, spring, and prey animals. She is a god of nature, and the druids of Bocrae consider her part of their pantheon.

Tenets of Faith

It is said that a caribou silhouetted by the rising sun is a messenger from the goddess, and great luck to happen upon. If it is especially close, one is supposed to kneel and bow their head to allow it to continue on whatever mission it was sent.   It is considered a sin to kill such a caribou. Particularly reverent hunters active early in the morning sometimes travel with their backs to the sun, to prevent this from even being possible.

Holidays

Cities and towns around Bocrae celebrate Guðrún's arrival and the start of spring. Most towns have ceremonial flowers planted at a church or town hall. When they first bloom in spring, a joyous festival is held the following day.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Guðrún is said to be involved with the growth of plants during spring, and the repair of the world following her sibling Wealdmær's reign of winter. She guides the creatures of the forest.
