Provinces of Lenif

Lenif is split into five provinces, each ruled by a regional count or countess. These nobles serve the royal family of Lenif, and the Church of Wytris, in organizing and administrating the nation.

Tidemark

Tidemark holds the crown jewel of the nation, the capital of Etsa. Traditionally, its lordship is held by the first in line to inherit the Lei crown - currently, this is Crown Princess Carine Eskandar.   It produces wealth from rock salt mines, fishing from the Panari Waves, and manufactured goods. It primarily trades with the other cities along the Waves, notably Tezusk for raw materials and magical goods.

Eastwatch

Eastwatch is a quiet province primarily filled with farmlands. Its regional capital, Sandorne Castle, has protected Etsa and secured its eastern flank for nearly two hundred years. It is also home to the Temmuic Order, an order of holy knights loyal to the Church of Wytris.

Langree Heights

The Langree Heights envelop most of the mountain range from which it gets its name. It is a wealthy province of industry, producing most of the raw metals of the nation, as well as its coveted pink marble. It trades thoroughly with both Aswana and Iccot who it neighbors.   Kirden Bridge is its provincial capital, a former fortress turned city of industry after rare metals were found in the surrounding mountains.

Rivmouth

Rivmouth is the most northern province of Lenif, consisting of dense woodland, and deep marshes and wetlands. It has attracted many halflings, who compare it favorably to the land of the Riverlands. It exports cranberries, fish, and other wetland crops.   Its population is scattered homes and farmsteads, with Tenby Manor and its surrounding town acting as a sort of regional capital. Nearly 80% of the town's population are halflings.

Epholm Wanders

The Epholm Wanders is a long province that stretches from Rivmouth all along the southwestern border along the Riverlands. Dense forests fill the Wanders, and on either side are the two great rivers who run through the nation. At its southern tip, the regional capital of Kara's Vale is nestled into the mountains.
