Scholar is a religious figure known for restarting the Church of Aldt in Iccot following their life of adventuring with the Ruby Crusaders. They were active from 3855 EC to roughly 3863 EC
Few personal details are known about Scholar, including their given name - after several years of founding and leading the fledgling church, Scholar stepped down, and asked for anonymity. Church of Aldt historians have several excerpts from their founder in some final speeches to their clergy.
"I'm proud of what we have built here, I'm happy that what I learned can be shared with the world. But I didn't leave my home to become a religious leader - I found an old book in the woods, and read it in the hopes of learning how to save my people. I don't want to become a holy symbol, I just want to learn and teach."Following their wishes, the church anonymized their records, and lobbied for the city to do the same. Several statues of the Ruby Crusaders were re-carved throughout the city, and in place of their original is a robed, hooded figure with an old tome and staff.

The Scholar was pivotal in the defeat of a demonic plot in Iccot, along with the rest of the Ruby Crusaders.
As a cleric of Aldt, they founded the first Iccotian Church of Aldt, and due to the trade importance of the city of Iccot, subsequently spread it to other parts of the world. Formerly a nearly dead religion, this renewed modern interest in worshipping Aldt.

The Scholar was the founder of the Aldt religion in Iccot, renewing interest in the deity in modern times. As the church grew, The Scholar requested their name struck from records in an effort to prevent their fame from overshadowing the church, and instead let the church grow on its own laurels.
Sculptures and statues were re-cast with a nondescript humanoid figure in their place, and stories modified.

Tales about the Ruby Crusaders purport that the Scholar was primarily nonviolent, and generally attempted to avoid combat when possible.
