Sokolan Caravans
After the Sokolan Cataclysm, the Sokolan people were fractured. The survivors were travelers, traders, and anyone who had found themselves outside of their homeland at the time of the disaster. Of particular note were the colonists that had traveled north into the Wildlands.
Without the support of their nation, most of these colonies failed. Survivors banded together into caravans and made a long journey east towards the more stable kingdoms of Bocrae, Wejnazeer, and Lenif.
Many Sokolan caravans embraced this life, and continue to roam the land, traveling from city to city. With no land to call their own, they would never again have to watch their homes turn to ash.
Sokolan caravans are most common in the north, and some reach towards the warmer climate of the Cradle. Even moreso than in Strossenberg where their kin found refuge, Sokolan culture is alive in these caravans, and those who travel with them remain the primary speakers of the Sokolan language.
