Unseen Elixir
Unseen Elixirs are a creation of the Alchemist's Guild, and are said to be able to render the drinker impossible to divine or scry for a period. Higher quality elixirs last a longer period of time.
They are sometimes sold on the black market at prices more than ten times what the Alchemist's Guild charges.
Properties
Material Characteristics
The elixir is a reddish purple which is invisible in bright daylight. It is oily, hydrophobic, and evaporates quickly, so most Unseen Elixirs are tightly sealed.
The elixir gives its effect by quantity and quality - a higher quality brew lasts longer, and the dosage can be split up into smaller amounts. It is possible to overdose on lower quality brews if drunk to excess.
History & Usage
Cultural Significance and Usage
Unseen Elixirs are very rare, and one of the most highly protected secrets of the guild. While available to the public, they are commissioned purchases, and almost impossible to find second hand.
It is said that the Seyrin's spies are able to purchase the elixirs at a fraction of the normal price - in exchange, the Alchemist's Guild relies on the goddess of spies to track down traitors to the guild.
