Founding

Strossenberg founded by refugee dwarves fleeing the underground, with the aid of Sokolan royalty.

The human Queen Lecina of House Tourneur of Sokol aided dwarven refugees in resettling in a valley near their original mountains. Providing funding, food, building materials and military support for protection, the dwarves were able to build a city that grew into the powerful city-state it is today.   Dwarves of Strossenberg venerate the queen for her charity and kindness to this day, and paintings and tapestries depicting the construction of the city fill the royal castle. The day of her passing is a national holiday in the city-state.
