My god that man is a wanderer. Not sure how he gets along with everyone so well in The Wheel if I am being honest.Earland Grey Rock Fastbin Still Halfpenny Whispered Hillwalker is a lightfoot halfling who was born and raised in The Wheel barony. A staunch local, he has gained a reputation as a fixer and errand runner for the barony and has managed to make friends with almost everyone in the barony due to his amiable, honest and kind-hearted nature.

Earland represents an exceptionally good image for the people of the wheel and represents the barony at it's best, finding community in anarchy and acting as a guide and helping hand for all. This amiability, along with his rather well-known skill with magic (as a bard by trade) has led to Earland having the deeply respected title of being one who has never been challenged to a round in Bloodsport... the one time he was challenged by a local youth Niles Five Eyes stood in his place; a sign that even the ruthless leader in the barony had a soft spot for Earland.
Earland was a blacksmith by trade and, allegedly, smithed weapons once but claims to have sworn away from making weapons ever again and instead is known to have outsourced some of his needs to smiths in mountain villages... notably choosing to walk to those villages in order to better enjoy the travels of Kaechaek.
However, Earland's former smithing shop (he is now retired) is known to have a locked library in the back of it filled with information on artifice, smithing, crafting and other arts that he does not permit anyone to read.
