Raiders

If you think they are a disorganised rabble than they aren't real raiders. Ruthless, cold, former soldiers organised by a far stronger character... those are the Kaechaek Raiders.

A travelling merchant relates some knowledge from his travels with a pack of Raiders.

Raiders are the bandits, killers and bloodthirsty mercenaries who wander the deserts and harsh landscapes of Kaechaek. Often outlaws or exiles who are not welcome in the barony's, members of the Raiders are skilled warriors and fighters who are a cut above your standard bandits and thugs who roam the cities and kinder spaces in Kaechaek. The Raiders also show a more civil and reasonable side, often taking enough to not cause an adventurer to die out in Kaechaek and to keep them sustained, as opposed to becoming greedy. Due to the 'young' nature of the raiders not much is known about them as they have only been a faction for the last 10 years and even their leader is shrouded in mystery. Though they seem to follow a code of honour and are even available for hire, with the right courage and price. Though, there is one thing Raiders have become famous for, that is their 'shows'. In which stalls are set up outside of towns or in areas of raider gatherings in which visitors can tensely barter for interesting valuables using coin or, preferably, trade items. These stalls don't last long but often have some interesting or downright necessities to buy.

Structure

The raiders are organised into bandit groups and roving mercenaries who all ultimately answer to the raiders call and rove in organised party's circling out from the Wheel in a military fashion.

Culture

The raiders are built on a culture of military precision in their leadership and so this often involves a culture of weapon care and civility to others. This has led to many being complementary of the raiders and their practise which includes following The Kae's Honour strictly, caring for their weapons and never needlessly killing the innocent or leaving them to die. Those in the raiders who do not follow these rules are immediately and ruthlessly executed.
