Having been sent there by Queen Faith Vallea. A tall and imposing dragonborn, Nosgard was once a magical advisor to the Queen before he was promoted to running the town of Chirechest and work toward building a kind of unity between the Dwarves and Elves there. Nosgard has become thinner in his time running the town and also regularly looks tired, with heavy bags under his eyes and slightly unpolished golden scales. Nosgard is generally seen favourably as a diplomat and skilled politician as well as a deceptively powerful mage... though he has been accused of not keeping up with his magical training as politics has become his priority.

Nosgard was a warmage sorcerer for Vallea in his youth, an exceptionally talented evoker and tactician who improved their ability by gaining a significant amount of martial prowess with weapons and armour that they enhance with magic.
Nosgard proved to be a wise and strong speaker alongside their military skill and so was soon employed to work under, and take the role of, Magical Advisor to the Vallean court. He worked in this role for ten years before Queen Vallea gave him the opportunity to train an apprentice to take his place so that he may take over the town of Chirechest, potentially becoming the mayor of the town that will be responsible for good political relations with the rest of the Namarie.
