Teneted

Rules, tenets, futures, pasts and power... these are what now govern the Vampires in my new order.

• An introduction to the book of the Vampire's Tenets; as written by The First

The Teneted are an organisation of vampires that have taken root throughout all of Namarie but found their origins in Vallea with the establishment and empowerment of the ancient master vampire known as 'The First'. 


After delving into Caer Dathyl the first studied the wall of the reader, the sanctuary and key of The Woven Providence and they claimed to have found the 'truth' of the vampires and a way to find their truest potential. By following the tenets in order to usher in The Twin Peaked Dawn... a time that Vampire's will ascend to within the breath of the gods and the world will enter a crimson night.


The First encountered staunch and violent opposition to the controversial Tenets set out but it cannot be denied that, although vampires are not as common as they once were... they have never been more potent or as influential in spheres of life.
In the 'Vampire's tenets' each tenet acts as a chapter in which is contained the rule a vampire is to follow, an account of what the purest form of this tenet looks like from the history of vampires and finally, a personal account from The First on her findings when meditating over the wall of The Reader.
The tenets are summarised below:

1. A vampire's role is to fill the light with dark and so a vampire must take their role in the world... otherwise how is power to be accrued? Scorn the passive vampires, hate the cowards and hunt the hidden.
2. Blood hunted is blood earned and so the vampire who greedily lures and feeds like a glutton not earning their feed is not a vampire at all.
3. The sport of the hunt is paramount and so it is the role of a vampire to hone their bodies, forms and magic to make themselves the most effective hunter in the same way a soldier hones their body to kill all enemies.
4. Never forget the goal of the Twin Peaked Dawn as all actions of the teneted vampires are towards a paradisal existence.
5. Fear not the world for it is a ground of hunting. A vampire that fears and isolates themselves from the world is a fearful and isolated vampire. 
6. The Tenets will weed the weak and so a vampire that walks the teneted path must prepare for the inevitable death and competition that comes with it. 
7. The most cherished blood is the blood of kin and so the vampires must live with a mindset of survival of the fittest. The hunting, killing and cannibalism of other vampires will lead to the ascendancy of the strongest of our kind. 
8. Embrace the bloods potential, a vampire should never fear blood or it;s potency in all forms.
