The Resting Oasis

The resting oasis is a miles large space of water in Kaechaek that shimmers with an unnatural glow and reflects the suns rays in purple and silver shades. Representing it's silvery reflection of The Nocta Mori and it's colourful lure of The Quori.  The Resting Oasis is famed and mythic throughout Kaechaek as it represents the split and schism between dreams and reality, nightmares and fantasy, the real and the unreal, the magical and the mundane. For the resting Oasis is the site of the only known agreement struck between the Nocta Mori and the Quori. The resting Oasis was agreed to be neutral territory for the two concepts to meet in a peaceful manner. For no blood in the dreaming war can be spilt in the resting oasis.  As a result of this, the water has a supernatural, symbolic element as a space where dreams and nightmares met and did not repel one another as nature intended. Leading the water to bring diverse wildlife, creatures of dreams and nightmares and the closest someone can get to experiencing a waking dream or hallucination without the disastrous consequences of realisation that come with it. Currently, the newly found and heavily populated barony of The Diamond have been set up a few short miles from this oasis in order to further investigate realisation and the dreaming planes in this hallowed spot.
