Apolis

Often seen as a flock of golden butterflies, Apolis is considered the most beautiful of the gods, even more beautiful than Cyntha herself, something that makes her incredibly jealous. In fact it isn't unusual for people who gaze upon his beautiful visage to shed a tear. This in turn causes him to also shed a tear at the realisation that no one will ever be able to worship and appreciate his own beauty more than he does himself. Hence why he is destined to end up alone. Yet he still continuously chases after love, having had numerous relationships with mortal creatures from every possible race and gender. However all of these always end in tragedy.

Shrines of Apolis can be found in the most divine of places and so are his temples. Smaller shrines can also be found near places of healing or places where the connection to the sun and weave are strong. He is one of the gods who demands constant attention, thriving under it.
