The Nameless One
The Silent One, The Faceless God
Not much is known about the being known as The Nameless One, other than that it is a being of unimaginable power, perhaps even equal to The Eres themselves. It is possible that The Nameless One may be an Eres of an unknown identity, betraying his kin in secret, away from the eyes of all others. Some believe The Nameless One is Myrkul taking a different form.
The Nameless One did not effect Naneth in anyway, even after the Eres had departed at the end of the Age of Creation. Not until the end of the Age of Fire did The Nameless One make their move.
Destruction of Orphans Peak; Release of the Mists
Using the War of Fire as a distraction to enact their plans, The Nameless One arranged in secret, a plot to devastate the entirety of Naneth. Using their followers to infiltrate the inner circle of The Alliance, The Nameless One was able to use their plans and final push into The Red Wastes, as a means to an end. As the final battle commenced, The Nameless One's most powerful follower was chosen for the mission to defeat Tiamat at Orphans Peak, unbeknownst to The Alliance and the other heroes. The Battle of Orphans Peak served it's purpose perfectly, as Tiamat's forces were distracted, allowing the four heroes clear passage to the mountain. From there, they dueled Tiamat within her domain, finally defeating her at great cost. The Alliance had seemingly emerged victorious. But it was then that The Nameless One's follower enacted their true purpose. They betrayed the other heroes within Orphans Peak, casting a spell that broke open the mountain itself. From within the peak, a great, toxic, mist emerged. None of the heroes, including the traitor, survived. The Mists from Orphans Peak spread quickly across the northeastern regions of Naneth, devastating all natural life in it's path. The Nameless One harnessed the winds of Naneth, spreading the toxic mists to all corners of the world. The inhabitants of Naneth faced their darkest hour, sending most of them into the secluded regions of the world, in an attempt to survive. It seemed as if The Nameless One has succeeded in wiping out all life, and the Age of Mists began. But The Nameless One had underestimated the mortal life created by Eldath, Silvanus, Armok, and Torm. Life on Naneth had survived, with the mortals using the power and resources provided to them by their creators. For two-thousand years, life on Naneth clasped to survival, and finally the mists receded, allowing the Age of Renewal to begin.Worshipers
Although The Nameless One has not been active since the Age of Mists, a cult in their name has steadily grown in it's stead. The are simply called The Nameless or The Faceless, and they seek to usurp the order of Naneth, whether that be in the natural world or the affairs of the powerful. These agents listen and watch the goings-on of Naneth, looking for opportunities to push it's inhabitants closer to the brink of destruction. Whether that means an assassination that leads to war, or the release of a plague or sickness that could cause great causalities, the Nameless are always working in the shadows, away from the public's eye. Whether or not the cult has actually been in contact with The Nameless One is unknown, but it is certain that these agents would go to great lengths to ensure chaos across Naneth. Without fail, there are agents of this mysterious being present in every city and region of Naneth.Artifacts
