Bowstead

The only village of notable size in the Yancol Isles, Bowstead is on the largest most hospitable island with conditions perfect for farming year-round. The people that reside here are long descendants of the slaves that Yuan-Ti used to employ to build their civilizations and the village itself and the surrounding land still feature heavy reptilian themes.
The people that live here still follow some traditions and prayers from the old times, and many reptiles are continuously worshipped and considered sacred by locals. Poachers have been known to face harsh sentences when caught usually resulting in their execution as part of a ritual.
