Dhampir

An individual that has been transformed (sometimes willingly and sometimes not) by a vampire or other undead creature in a way that places them in a realm between life and death. They have improved agility and a taste of extra power but are often tested by a force of deep hunger, commonly for blood but not always. On rarer occasions, one can become a dhampir through such things as curses, magical experimentation or god-like meddling.
They still retain the overall size and characteristics from their form before the transformation although they may display slight and subtle differences. This can make spotting or recognising a Dhampir quite a challenge unless you know what to look for (crawling on walls and ceilings is usually a dead giveaway).
A dhampir can pass their bloodline on through to their children although it not always guaranteed, they lack any other abilities to create further dhampirs.
