The Ardbank

General Description

Located roughly an equal distance away from the towns of Demaris, Montbury, and Andrekar, this expansive building fulfils multiple vital roles. Primarily, it serves as the headquarters of the Mastercraft Trade Union, providing a central hub for its members to convene and strategize. Additionally, it plays a crucial role as a diplomatic meeting place for visiting envoys, offering a neutral ground for discussions and negotiations.

Appearance & Layout

This three-story building boasts a striking facade of solid red and beige brickwork adorned with numerous graceful arches, exuding an air of timeless elegance. The courtyard features lush gardens, clusters of trees, neatly trimmed hedges, and captivating fountains that infuse the area with tranquillity and charm.   Inside, the building offers ample space, allowing up to two hundred people to be accommodated with the utmost comfort. The top floor of the establishment provides the most luxurious and largest of the rooms available, while the lower floors, while still refined, are more compact.

Functions

In the absence of a controlling government in the region, the responsibility of governance falls upon the leaders of the nearby towns. These individuals come together periodically to engage in constructive discussions, focusing on trade agreements, profit sharing, and the exchange of valuable information. Their collaborative efforts aim to foster economic growth and mutual prosperity among the communities.   Beyond serving as a platform for inter-town negotiations, the facilities present a unique opportunity for external parties as well. By paying a fee, these parties gain access to this neutral ground, leveraging it as a conducive environment to broker their own deals or agreements. The impartial setting allows for fair and transparent negotiations, facilitating the establishment of beneficial partnerships and alliances among diverse entities.
