He Whom Commands the Blizzard Aesir (a.k.a. the Last Titan)
The Frost Giant King of Fimblvintr, Aesir has been King since the death of Vanir the Storm-Blooded, the Titan who started the Giant's War and nearly broke the plane with his arrogance. Aesir watched Vanir succumb to his hubris, and he witnessed the consequences that nearly brought the extinction of the Giants. Aesir has had a long time to ponder his forebearer's decisions & flaws, and has chosen to accept the exile imposed upon him and the Giants by the rest of the plane.
Aesir can often be seen traveling to Yddrasil, the Ur-Tree planted millennia ago to celebrate a new age for the Giants after the defeat of the Dragon Tyrant. The tree has become truly gargantuan, but has not bloomed or born fruit in over a thousand years. Rime, Goddess of Winter, often chooses to roost there to watch over Aesir. It is unknown the exact nature of their relationship, as they are technically a prisoner & a warden. There does not appear to be any direct hostility between them, however.
