Crefn
(This deity's name comes from Trefn [trɛvn], the Cymraeg word for 'order'.)
Crefn (Lawful Neutral) is the God of Order and Civilisation. He teaches that with careful discipline, devotion to logic and carefully established laws, there can be peace within the world, and harmony between all beings. His clerics, monks, and paladins, undergo intense training and meditation, sometimes for years, even decades, to learn to emotionally detach themselves from situations so they can devote themselves to maintaining order in their societies, and in the universe as a whole.
History
As with most of the other principal deties, Crefn came to full power during The First Great Turbulence, as civilisations crumbled and people cried out for a restoration of order and calm. His worship further swelled during and after The Second Great Turbulence for similar reasons, and while it ebbed slightly during the long period of The Second Calm, it has been growing again as the year 1200 SC, and a possible Third Great Turbulence looms on the horizon. Major leader tend to encourage the worship of Crefn, since it encourages citizens to follow laws. However those with dubious or ill intent may abhor the deity, fearing that his followers might take vengence on them.Divine Domains

- Adherence to the laws of just leadership and government brings harmony. Breaking laws can destabilise society and serves the purpose of chaos, not order.
- Demons serve only the abyss and chaos. Destroy these ambassdors of destruction and the void wherever you see them.
- Where those who govern have become corrupted, and seek to use their power to hurt and steal from those below them, they must be removed and replaced with those who will obey their obligations within society's unwritten contracts.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Crefn has an order specifically devoted to seeking out abyssal incursions onto the material plane, and sending these chaotic entities back, called The Order of the Enduring Shield. Their hope is to one day permanently seal the abyssal plane, if not destroy it outright.
It is known that Crefn abhors conditions like lycanthropy, which render a civilised being utterly feral and destructive. Those who actively choose to embrace such conditions are not welcome in his following, and may even be killed if they seem dangerous.
