Ferai
Overview
Ferai is the Goddess of the Forge, upon whose anvil civilisations are built and shattered. Her provinces are that of Crafts and War. She wears neither a smile nor a frown, but hammers ceaselessly at her anvil day and night, raising mountains, and shattering cities.
It's said that sparks from her forge formed the stars in the sky.
In the past, those looking for an explanation have suggested that Ferai could be responsible for the The First Great Turbulence and The Second Great Turbulence, claiming that she must be making the earth shakes and causing the chaos. But this has been continually refuted by her clerics.
Sacred Symbols
Both hammers and anvils are used as symbols of Ferai. Some followers were small pewter or silver symbols to show their faith. Prairie Dogs are also linked to her.
Day of Celebration
Midwinter feasts are often dedicated to Ferai, with bonfires lit and songs sung to urge her to stoke the fires of her forge and warm the frozen earth. Communities often exchange small handmade gifts with each other at these celebrations.
Worshippers
It is common for apprentices to regularly visit her temples, asking for her blessings on their careers, and rewards for their hard work. Many journeymen/women/folk and masters maintain individual shrines to her.
