Dhampirism
Dhampirism is a lesser version of Vampirism in which the creature afflicted hasn't yet become a fully fledged vampire.
Transmission & Vectors
Similar to vampirism, the only way to contract vampirism is to be bitten by a vampire. Unlike vampirism, dhampirism is not congenital and cannot be passed down to descendants.
Symptoms
Dhampirism's symptoms are quite similar to those of vampirism, being it an underdveloped version of the full condition. The symptoms are:
- Supernatural strength.
- Crave for some sort of substance from living beings.
- Surges of energy when they feed from this substance.
- Lost of the necesity to breath.
- Lost reflection and shadow.
Prognosis
Indulging to much in the apetites born from this condition might lead to ones lost of self control. The infected may start to see life as devoid of balue and attacks against other creatures become more frequent.
Prevention
The only possible prevention is to avoid vampiric creatures at all costs.
