Session V: The lady in red Report

General Summary

The party found themselves before the viceroy in an improvised judgement for the bandit crew from the forest. They presented their oddysey to the viceroy and his loyal adviser. The viceroy then voiced his concern to let the people know about the monster they fought in the caves, now identified by the adviser as a balhannoth, a creature that hails from the Shadowfell.

To deter the sovereign from executing the bandits and blaming the disappeareances on them, the party suggested allowing them to leave and announcing they escaped. The regent accepted with the condition that they had to take care of the bandits and stop them from causing further trouble. He then properly compensated them for their troubles and as per agreement gave them information about their enemies possible location. He narrated how his soldiers found an entrance to a cave that wasn't there before. At the entrance of this cave

The party, now followed by the bandits, called captain Jibril again to take the bandits back to Blossomborough. On their way there, the captain, interested in contracting some crew members for her ship, made the offer to Amadrya and some of her companions. They gladly accepted and work now on the Cloudslicer.

Once on land, Malaveth accompanied the remaining bandits and Amadrya and gave them a bunch of coin to deal with the expenses they might have. Meanwhile, Kiber looked for Kestrel in the village. When she found him she communicated the situation of his child to him. He thanked Kiber and offer his aid if they ever need it.

The party took flight and set sail towards Withershire, despite the captain's cautionary tales. There they asked around to learn more about the cave. They couldn't find much information, however, when they were about to give up, a squirrel appeared before them. This squirrel gestured them to follow it and guided them to the cave where a bunch of animals were waiting for them to get in.

Inside, the cave began to turn into a manmade structure filled with paintings of what appeared to be nobles. They continued on and found a lady with white hair and pale skin donning a black and red dress. She made them step forth and welcomed them to her home and prison.
