Sneræv

The Sneræv is the force tasked with the gathering of intel on enemy territory. This soldiers are trained towards speed and nimbleness and excel in running in and out of danger. It is commanded by Lord Vidarr Dagger, a tabaxi known across the empire for being a track and field star on his spare time.

The Sneræv stands a good 15000 men strong beign the second largest unit in the Sølv Vildnis.

Weaponry

When gathering intel, the Sneræv is trained in the usage of shortswords and daggers. Only soldiers of certain divisions are trained for this. On the other hand, all soldiers of the Sneræv are trained in the usage of spear and lance. These weapons are used when on horseback or vehicles to land devastating blows.

Vehicles

Sneræv soldiers are best trained in the use of smaller and faster land vehicles like chariots and are especially adept at horse riding. However, they can also operate any land vehichle without fail.

Training

Every year, the soldiers of the Sneræv take a three day physical exam. On the first day, they have to run 30km in an hour. They can go at whatever the pace they choose, but they can't stop. The second day, they have chariot riding testst. On the third day, they are physically examined by a cleric of Ilona to see if they are still fit for their job.

To apply for the Sneræv a recruit needs to have at least two years of experience in the Sølv Vildnis and be between a certain age limit that varies depending on the race of the applicant. You also need to pass the endurance test of the Sneræv.
