NYC LFER Headquarters
The NYC cell of LFER is located in an abandoned subway terminal in the northern most part of the city’s old Green Line. Gang fighting, fires, and neglect long ago forced the closure of the line past Central Park. However, the remainder of the line was purchased by a private entity years ago intended for private redeveloped line under ground. The work was begun, but vanishings put a halt to this effort more than forty years ago.
To enter the LFER HQ (abandoned underground terminal at Woodlawn Station), you’d have to pass multiple hidden security checkpoints, walking the nearly eight miles of underground track in darkness.
The first checkpoint is one mile past the last working station at Central Park. The checkpoint appears to be staffed by city employees who ensure vagrants and other curious folks don’t wander any further.
