Zarinaya
Zarinaia
Zarinaya, a warrior-queen of a Saka tribe, is the Sire of Grozav. She lived and died a normal mortal life in the 6th century, BCE. She rose as a revenant and was chosen to be Uplifted into the Akhud by her sire, Shara.
Her Sire wandered the deserts for centuries, a nomadic warrior. He mastered esoteric disciplines and devotions and created the bloodline Zarinaya belongs to, by default. She herself has dabbled in many things, blood sorcery being the latest of them, despite Shara's dire warnings against such practices. He left after her first century, longing for the desert and something there that meant more to him than she did. She resents him still, millennia later.
In 1460 she Uplifted the revenant Roma nomad named Grozav. While she trained him to be a perfect warrior of speed and precision, she never tried to introduce him into the greater family of their Clan. Then, in 1511, She demanded his help to protect them.
