Griffons

Once territorial predators that hunted the fields of Mytheria, Griffons were imported to Nightblood during the late days of the Alliance of Kings and began to be bred as trained mounts for aeriel transport. As the last of their species since Mytheria's destruction, the majority of remaining Griffons serve as trained taxis and transports between the floating islands of Nightblood; handled by experts who rent out the beasts for small fees on predetermined flights, or for a larger sum for free-flight rentals. There are very rarely any wild Griffons found anymore.
