He is very stoic and gets straight to business, prefering not to engage in any banter as seen by non-response to Stateman's jokes.

Statesman is Gangrim's superior. They seem to be casual enough that Zhuge cracked a joke regarding his wife's competitiveness although Gangrim didn't react much, preferring to ignore him.
